“The Plant Guy NI” was born from a genuine passion for gardening and the joy of seeing gardens flourish with beautiful plants, shrubs, trees, vibrant colours, and year-round interest. Nestled in the peaceful countryside of County Antrim and set within one and a half acres, we grow many of our plants from seed and rootstock, propagating as much as possible ourselves to ensure quality and variety.
We are ideally located to dispatch your purchases across NI and further afield, and you can also meet us in person at the various markets and events where we regularly showcase and sell our plants.
With a strong interest in garden design, we believe that gardens should be a natural extension of our homes. By combining carefully selected plants with a range of materials, textures, colours, and sensory elements, outdoor spaces can be transformed into places where people genuinely want to spend more time.

Over the years, we have become increasingly disappointed by the limited range of plants available in many garden centres, where the same selections often appear year after year. While we continue to offer much-loved favourites, we are equally passionate about sourcing and growing unusual, distinctive, and exciting plants that are rarely found locally.
Many gardeners are inspired by the stunning varieties featured by Monty Don, Carol Klein, David Domoney, Alan Titchmarsh and on Gardeners’ World, yet struggle to find them close to home. Our aim is to bridge that gap by bringing both trusted classics and extraordinary specimens to gardeners who are looking for something a little different.
